La Moneda Cultural Center was constructed between November 2004 and January of the 2006 and designed by the Chilean architect Cristián Undurraga. it has a surface of 7,200 square meters, with two principal halls for exhibition, each one of 630 square meters.

Bajo la Plaza de la Cuidadanía se ubica el Centro Cultural la Moneda, desde el primer panorama se puede apreciar los tragaluces desde el Hall Principal.
It is part Bicentennial Project, in preparation to the 200 years of Chile’s life.
The Moneda Cultural Center has other halls such as the "Arts Documentation Center", with information and resources relative to the Modern and Contemporary Art, a Digital Laboratory, Restaurants, Cafeteria and little stores. |
