Frutillar town is famous for its Music Weeks that take place annually since 1968.
The Frutillar music weeks take place between January 27 and February 5.

Geo- politic Situation

It constitutes along with the communes of Puyehue, RioNegro, Purranque, Fresia, Llanquihue, Puerto Varas and Los Muermos the Congressional District N. 56 and it belongs to the 17 Senatorial Circumscription ( The Southern Lakes ).
